Charlie Hebdo’s Paris headquarters was attacked by terrorists on January 7, 2015, killing 12 people and injuring 11.

On December 16, 2020, local time, the Paris Serious Crimes Court sentenced the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack, and 14 defendants involved were sentenced.

The trial began on September 2 and was originally planned for two and a half months, but it was delayed by one month due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic.
