According to Russian satellite news agency on December 24, French Health Minister Oliver Veran said on Thursday that the French National Health Agency had approved the use of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine to fight against the novel coronavirus on the same day.

The European Commission began mass vaccination campaigns Thursday by sending Pfizer/BioNTech coronavirus vaccines in batches to 27 member states.

The European Commission announced on Twitter on the same day that “after careful packaging, the newly approved coronavirus vaccine is being shipped to 27 EU countries in batches.

These vaccines will soon arrive at their destinations and be used during the ‘EU Vaccination Day’ on December 27, 28 and 29.”
