According to local police sources, on the 8th, a car crashed into an ice cave on a lake in Kizil Orda Oblast.

At that time, there were seven people in the car, three of whom escaped and four disappeared. Subsequently, rescuers searched and rescued the four missing people, which were eventually suspended due to dark.

On the morning of the 9th, search and rescue personnel found the bodies of four victims and cars that fell into the lake 7 meters underwater (25 cm ice thickness) at the scene of the accident.

The four victims were born in 1973, 1981, 1985 and 1994.

Local police said that the local emergency department, the police and the families of the victims were involved in the whole search and rescue process, and a total of 27 professionals and 7 search and rescue equipment were dispatched.
