Four people have been killed in a firecracker attack in a central Java area of Indonesia

According to Indonesian media reports, on May 12, 17:00 local time, seven people set off firecrackers in the Milit area of Gebmen, Central Java, Indonesia, three of whom were killed on the spot, and one died in hospital on the 13th, while three others were injured. The police are now investigating the cause of the accident.

During Eid al-Fitr, people across Indonesia set off firecrackers to celebrate, leading to a number of accidents.
