Four committees of the U.S. House of Representatives began to investigate the Capitol riots.

Members of the U.S. House of Representatives Intelligence Committee, Homeland Security, Judiciary, Oversight and Reform Committees sent letters to law enforcement and intelligence services, “in connection with the January 6 insurgency instigated by President Trump, and including the inauguration ceremony” Within the framework of the assessment of events and intelligence related to the threat of the peaceful transfer of power within the country…requests relevant documents.

The letter is sent to the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the National Counterterrorism Center.

According to NBC News, the FBI is investigating whether foreign governments, organizations or individuals have provided funding to participants in the January 6 attack on the Capitol.
