February 7 – Brad Parscale, a former senior adviser to former U.S. President Trump’s data and digital business, called on his former boss to run for president of the United States again, and said that repeated impeachments were in Trump’s favor.
According to the American magazine Politico on the 6th, the former campaign manager of Trump wrote in a deleted tweet on the same day that if he was impeached only twice, Trump needs to run for president again.
“If Trump asks me how to win again. I will plan and implement the campaign on the basis of two impeachments. Impeachment will give him superpowers.”
Trump told his allies he would run in 2024 after losing his re-election campaign last November.
But on January 6 this year, there was a congressional riot in the United States, and Trump was subsequently impeached by congressional Democrats.
Politico’ analysis said that if the impeachment bill passes through Trump’s political future, it will be closed.
In addition, polls made by Politico in conjunction with other agencies showed that Republicans and Republican-leaning independents’ support for Trump’s 2024 Republican candidacy fell from 53% in November 2020 to 40% in mid-January.
