Floods in South Africa’s Western Cape province have killed at least four people

At least four people have been killed in flooding in several towns in the Overberg region of South Africa’s Western Cape province since May 4, state television reported on May 8.

Storms and rain are now weakening and roads leading to the area are closed. The local government is helping the affected residents evacuate the area besieged by the flood.
