Floods in northern Turkey have killed 27 people and destroyed homes and bridges

2021 Aug. 13 (AP) – The death toll from heavy rains and mudslides on Turkey’s northern Black Sea coast has risen to 27, Turkish officials said.

U.S. media said the flood destroyed homes and bridges and washed away cars. Hundreds of people were rescued by helicopter and taken to safety.
