Flights from the UK to France resume, passengers must be tested for COVID-19

Bloomberg reported on December 23 that flights from the United Kingdom to France have resumed after two days of suspension, but eligibility restrictions and new coronavirus testing requirements limit the number of passengers who can board the plane.

A flight to Paris departed from London Heathrow Airport at 09:24 Wednesday, followed by another flight to Nice, according to the British Airways website.

Both flights were previously delayed, and an earlier French-Dutch flight was cancelled, reflecting the challenges faced by the airline and airport staff.

The World Health Organization announced on the 21st that the mutant novel coronavirus reported by the United Kingdom has been found in Australia, Denmark, Italy, Iceland, the Netherlands and South Africa.

More and more countries and regions have implemented entry restrictions on the United Kingdom and other related countries.

So far, more than 40 countries and regions around the world have suspended flights from the United Kingdom.
