FDA: Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine is effective in preventing COVID-19 by 95%

According to Bloomberg on the 8th, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine is 95% effective in preventing COVID-19.

On the same day, the Washington Post reported, citing people familiar with the matter, that Pfizer has informed U.S. officials that it will not provide more coronavirus vaccines until the end of June or early July.

Pfizer told officials that other countries had rushed to short its vaccine.
