,October 29. In an interview on the 28th, American infectious disease scientist Fauci warned that the pandemic of Coronavirus Pandemic in the next few months will bring more suffering to the United States.

According to the US Consumer News and Business Channel (CNBC), the number of Coronavirus Pandemic cases in 47 states in the United States is increasing, and hospitals everywhere are crowded with infected patients.

Fauci said that the United States was “going in the wrong direction” in dealing with Coronavirus Pandemic. “If the situation is not alleviated, this country will suffer more due to many unnecessary hospitalizations and deaths.”

Fauci said in the interview that the states in the northeastern United States contained the virus throughout the summer, but now the number of cases has started to climb again.

The number of confirmed cases in New York exceeded 500,000, and the number of hospitalized cases in New Jersey exceeded 1,000 for the first time since July.

However, he pointed out that cities such as New York and Philadelphia are more capable of responding to the Pandemic, while the northwest and central regions will face greater difficulties.

“They are not equipped with the intensive care facilities that some major hospitals have, and the medical system does not have a certain degree of tolerance.”

According to reports, in the central and western regions, the number of cases and hospitalizations has surged, hitting a record high.

The positive rate of COVID-19 testing in Wisconsin for 7 days was 28%, and the number of hospitalizations for COVID-19 reported in Minnesota reached the highest value.

Fauci predicts that the United States will not adopt similar lockdown measures adopted by Melbourne, Australia to curb the surge in summer cases.

“The U.S. has almost no intention to implement a blockade, and blockade measures will be subject to major resistance at the national and local levels.”
