Barnier said that he is reporting the progress of the negotiations to European parliamentarians, and several major differences between Europe and Britain still exist.

On the 19th of this month, because a member of the EU negotiating team tested positive for Coronavirus, Ou-British decided to temporarily suspend face-to-face negotiations.

According to the relevant provisions of the “Brexit Agreement”, the transitional period of “Brexit” in the UK will end on December 31, 2020. Currently, the EU-UK team is negotiating on a future relationship with a trade agreement as the core.

The negotiations will be vigorous and strive to reach an agreement as soon as possible, but there are still major differences between Europe and Britain on issues such as fisheries and fair competition.
