According to the UAE’s Declaration, on November 29th local time, Etihad Airways announced that it plans to resume flights from Beijing to Abu Dhabi on December 7.

All passengers must provide relevant tests in accordance with the airline’s epidemic prevention regulations and requirements. Certification can be used to board the plane.

At the same time, the airline promised to take all possible epidemic prevention measures in the process of providing services to ensure the health and safety of its employees and passengers.

Martin Drew, senior vice president of sales and cargo at Etihad Airlines, said that China remains an important strategic market for Etihad Airlines, and the resumption of additional passenger routes connecting China and Abu Dhabi is welcome.

Etihad is very grateful for the support of the relevant departments of the two countries. Etihad will continue to work hard to overcome difficulties and challenges and increase more routes to China if possible.

Etihad Airlines is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, and is the second largest airline in the United Arab Emirates. Affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, Etihad Airlines suspended all passenger flights on March 25.

Starting from 5 April, Etihad Airlines resumed passenger flights from Abu Dhabi to Seoul, Melbourne, Singapore, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta and Amsterdam.

Starting from June 10, passenger flights to 20 destinations around the world, including Karachi, Tokyo and Sydney, will be resumed, and connecting services will be provided.

In late July, Etihad Airlines resumed passenger flights between Abu Dhabi and Shanghai.
