Eighteen people, including several children, were dead in a ship capsizing in Nigeria
News from Abuja: Nigerian police said on the 13th that a ship capsized in the northeastern Bauchi state of the country on the 12th, resulting in 18 deaths.
The police said that the capsize occurred in the Itas-Gadao area of Bauchi State. A ship carrying 23 people capsized while traveling killing 18 people, and the remaining 5 people were rescued, including several children. At the time of the incident, these people were on their way back to the farm by boat.
