Cairo, January 4 Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, Hara Zayed, said on the evening of the 2nd that Egypt officially approved the emergency use of the Chinese National Pharmaceutical Group’s COVID-19 inactivated vaccine in Egypt.
Hara Zayed said through Egyptian television media that the Egyptian Drug Administration sent the relevant official license to the Ministry of Health and Population on the 3rd, which was issued on the 2nd, and the safety and efficacy of China’s coronavirus vaccine have been scientifically certified.
She pointed out that the Chinese national medicine vaccine has passed the fourth stage of testing, and “the safety and efficacy have been scientifically certified”.
