Egypt may receive 500,000 doses of the national drug group’s coronavirus vaccine by the end of this month.

Bloomberg reported on December 17 that Egyptian cabinet spokesman Nader Saad told Egyptian DMC channel that Egypt expects to receive 500,000 doses of the national drug group’s coronavirus vaccine by the end of December after receiving the first batch of vaccines shipped through the United Arab Emirates.

According to a previous report by Xinhua News Agency, the Ministry of Health and Prevention of the United Arab Emirates announced on the 9th of this month that it would officially register the inactivated vaccine for the novel coronavirus developed by China National Pharmaceutical Group.
