by YCPress

According to the Russian satellite news agency, Egypt and Qatar agreed to resume diplomatic relations.

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal said on January 5, 2021 that Saudi Arabia and other countries have resumed full diplomatic relations with Qatar.

In June 2017, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt announced that Qatar had severed diplomatic relations and imposed sanctions and blockades on Qatar on the grounds of “supporting terrorism” and “destructing regional security”.
