On October 20, the Director of the Russian Federation’s Foreign Intelligence Service, Nariskin, stated that the United States is planning to start a “color revolution” in Moldova.
The Foreign Intelligence Service stated in a statement that the United States is grossly interfering in the internal affairs of Russia’s neighboring countries that are friendly to Russia.
For example, in Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, the United States has affected the situation after the presidential election, and the next target is Moldova.
Narishkin emphasized that Washington is dissatisfied with the current President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, because he maintains constructive relations with the CIS countries, including Russia.
Narishkin pointed out that the United States has informed in advance that the opposition will be formed at the embassy in Chisinau. If the current president is re-elected, it will organize large-scale protests and propose abolition of the voting results.
In addition, the United States will send a group of “color revolution” experts to Moldova on the eve of the Moroccan election.
