January 21th the Czech House of Representatives voted to approve the government’s application for the extension of the state of emergency.

The current state of emergency that has been opened on October 5, 2020 will expire on January 22.

In order to continue to implement the relevant restrictions to slow down the spread of the epidemic, the Czech government applied to the House of Representatives on the 18th to extend the state of emergency again until February 21.

However, in the end, the Czech Parliament only approved the extension of the state of emergency until February 14.

On the same day, Czech Health Minister Blatterny said that if the epidemic permits, primary school students will be allowed to return to school in early February.
