Overseas Network, October 23. As the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in the United States continues to be severe, the number of Coronavirus deaths in Wisconsin reached a new high on the 21st.

And the ICU beds in many regions have reached 90%. On the same day, a “square cabin hospital” located in a park in the state also admitted the first COVID-19 patient.

According to ABC and other media reports on the 22nd, this “square cabin hospital” in Wisconsin State Fair Park, with 530 beds, opened last week to ease the pressure on local hospitals.

The first patient entered the “square cabin hospital” on the 21st. It is reported that the Coronavirus patients who are in a mild condition but still need to be hospitalized will be treated in this hospital.

As the state’s epidemic continued to worsen, local hospitals were quickly filled with Coronavirus patients. According to data from the Governor’s Office, 90% of ICU beds in certain areas are full.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers said in a statement: “We are very happy to provide this facility (‘square cabin hospital’) to Wisconsin and our hospital, but it is regrettable that This is the status quo in Wisconsin today.”

He also called on the public to stay at home and help protect the local community from the Coronavirus, so as to avoid further pressure on the hospital.

ABC’s analysis of Covid pneumonia-related data shows that Wisconsin’s Coronavirus test positive rate, daily new cases and deaths are rising.

At a press conference on the 22nd, Evers also pointed out that the coronavirus is an “emergency crisis.”

According to real-time data from Hopkins University in the United States, the number of confirmed cases of new Coronavirus in Wisconsin has reached 186,110, with a total of 1,703 deaths.
