February 22nd local time, clashes between the Myanmar government army and Kachin Independence Army continued in the Mujie area of northern Myanmar.

Since about 14:00 on the 20th, Burmese government forces and Kachin independence forces have clashed near the village of Timar in the Mujie area.

By the morning of the 22nd, the 9th Brigade of the 6th Kachin Independence Army Regiment stationed there was also attacked by government forces.

It is understood that so far, the conflict between the two sides has caused the death of at least one civilian.
