Connecticut, USA, confirms the first case of Variant strain found in South Africa

February 15th, local time, the Connecticut Public Health Department reported that it had confirmed the first case of COVID-19 variant infection found in South Africa.

Connecticut Department of Public Health said that the patient was between 60 and 70 years old and had no recent travel record, but the data did not show the sex of the patient and whether there were potential health problems.

According to the Connecticut Department of Health, so far, the state has reported 42 cases of COVID-19 variant infections in the United Kingdom.
