February 16th, local time, near the town of Dipo in Shan State in northern Myanmar, Northern Alliance forces led by the Northern Shan Army launched an attack on the local Shan Army, killing 18 officers and soldiers of the Shan Army in the South and capturing 10.

It is understood that the Myanmar Northern Alliance is mainly composed of armed groups such as the Northern Shan Army and the De’ang National Armed Forces.
