January 25th local time, Chile’s Ministry of Health announced that 4,068 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the country, with a total of 703178 confirmed cases; 66 new deaths, with a total of 17,999 deaths; a total of 658,324 cured cases, with 26,475 cases.

Chile’s Health Minister Enrique Paris announced that in view of the rebound of the epidemic in many parts of the country and the rising number of confirmed cases, 29 cities will tighten epidemic prevention measures and return to the “compulsory quarantine phase” or “transitional phase” from 5 o’clock on January 28.
