According to the Russian satellite news agency, Benjamin Day Rothschild, chairman of the Rothschild Group’s board, died at the age of 58.
The newspaper quoted the Rothschild family as saying: “Ariana Day Rothschild and their daughter sadly announce the death of Benjamin Day Rothschild and died at the home of Preni-Chambercy after a heart attack.
Families said that Rothschild’s funeral would be held within the family in the near future. Banker Rothschild has been chairman of the board of directors of the Rothschild Group since 1997.
