Japan’s NHK news on February 17th that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States called on patients who have recovered from COVID-19 to also be vaccinated against the novel coronavirus.

At present, the coronavirus vaccination work in the United States has begun.

There are two kinds of vaccines being vaccinated, both of which are mRNA vaccines, which are produced by Pfizer and Moderna respectively.

In response to the question whether recovered patients should also be vaccinated, the CDC said that clinical trial data showed that patients with a history of COVID-19 infection could also be safely vaccinated.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also called on patients who have recovered from COVID-19 to actively vaccinated, saying that this is because scientists have not yet determined how long their autoimmune can provide protection after the recovery of COVID-19 patients, and the “natural immunity” effect obtained by the human body after contracting COVID-19 varies from person to person.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also pointed out that if the recovered patient receives serum therapy or artificial antibody therapy, it is necessary to wait 90 days before inoculating.

It is recommended that the recovered patient consult their doctor before inoculation for details.
