The number of eligible voters in this Myanmar general election is about 37 million. As Myanmar is currently in the second round of the severe period of the new crown epidemic, the Election Commission has previously arranged for people over 60 years old, patients with confirmed new crown pneumonia, quarantine personnel and medical personnel to vote in advance.

The number of early voters is about 6 million. It is estimated that more than 10 million voters will vote in the end. It is also understood that more than 70,000 overseas voters have voted in Myanmar embassies in various countries.

Through this general election, 330 members of the House of People of the Federal Parliament, 168 members of the House of Nations of the Federal Parliament, and 644 members of the provincial and state assemblies will be elected. 

In addition, elected members and members of the military will form the new Federal Parliament, and a new president and vice president will be elected in January next year.
