January 29, from the date to the end of April this year, Bulgaria requires immigration personnel to show a negative report of COVID-19 nucleic acid test within 72 hours.
Entry personnel who cannot show this report will be forcibly quarantined for 10 days.
The following personnel may be exempted: motorists engaged in international passenger transport, international truck drivers on the road or completing the journey; staff on board ships or aircraft; border service personnel and border staff transiting the country, etc.
Bulgarian citizens and persons with permanent or permanent residence in Bulgaria and their families will also be quarantined if they fail to submit a negative nucleic acid test report within 72 hours, Professor Kostadin Angelov, Minister of Health of Bulgaria.
