In order to curb the spread of the pandemic, the British government implemented pandemic prevention and isolation measures, and many British people lived at home longer.

According to a survey in the United Kingdom, about 40% of the non-sleeping time of the British people was spent watching video programs during the pandemic.

Thanks to this, the streaming media platform became a “big winner” and the number of new registered users was “a record.”

The British “Daily Mail” quoted the survey results of the media analysis company “Ampere” on the 28th and reported that by the end of this year, the three major streaming media platforms of Netflix, Amazon Gold Membership, and Disney+ will have a total of approximately 32.4 million registered users.

An increase of 34% in 2019, of which more than 3 million users used streaming media services for the first time; the number of new users this year is twice that of last year.
