The BBC reported on the 8th local time that the United Kingdom and the European Union have reached an agreement on how to implement the border rules for Northern Ireland.
According to the report, the British government said that it had reached agreement on border checkpoints and drug supply in principle. At the same time, the government said that it would repeal the controversial provisions of the Internal Market Act.
It is understood that the negotiations on a trade agreement between Britain and Europe after the end of the Brexit transition period are still in progress.
