According to the Russian Satellite News Agency on January 14, President-elect Biden of the United States heard reports on the preparations for the inauguration ceremony and reports from the FBI and the Secret Service on the threat of violence.
The transition team issued a press release saying: “Biden was briefed by senior FBI, Secret Service officials and key NSA members.
The team is working with the current government to collect as much information as possible about the status of the threat and effective measures to contain and defend against violent attacks.”
The new team is committed to laying the foundation for a smooth transition of power, which will ensure continuous control over the national security institutions.
The transition team also said that the president-elect team will receive daily reports on security and preparations for a smooth transition of power.
Security will be a top priority in Biden’s early presidency.
