January 9th – US President Trump said on the 8th that he would not attend the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Biden.
According to CNN on the 8th, Biden responded that it was a good thing that Trump would not come.
Biden also accused Trump of saying: “He embarrassed this country and embarrassed us worldwide.
He is not worthy of this position. In addition, Biden said that Vice President Pence was happy to be present at his inauguration ceremony.
Earlier, U.S. President Trump tweeted on the 8th that he would not attend Biden’s inauguration on January 20.
Trump’s move will break the historical tradition of the United States and make him the first current president in 150 years not to attend the inauguration of the successor president.
