Reuters, December 1st, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday that U.S. President-elect Biden is considering appointing a White House “head of Asian affairs” in the National Security Council.

The report quoted a transition team official as saying that the Biden administration would appoint “the right candidates and structures” to work with allies to promote American interests and values.
