November 30th Biden’s team announced the selection of senior officials in the White House communication team. U.S. media pointed out that for the first time, all senior aides who spoke on behalf of a U.S. government are women.

Biden said in a statement, according to the Washington Post and CNN: “Today I am proud to announce that the first senior communications team composed entirely of women has appeared in the White House. These qualified, experienced communicators will bring different perspectives to their work and work together to build this country better.”

It is reported that James Pusaki, the Obama-era White House communications director, will be the White House press secretary, and Kate Bedingfield, who was Biden’s deputy campaign manager and publicity director, will be the White House communications director.
