After rejecting the request of the U.S. government to extradite Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, the London District Court rejected Assange’s bail request on the 6th.

Reuters reported that the judge believed that Assange had a “precedent of contempt of court judgment” and that he had been in the Ecuadorian embassy to seek asylum during his last bail, and stayed for seven years.

The U.S. Department of Justice said on the 6th that it would continue to seek the extradition of Assange.
