Azerbaijan once again extends the quarantine of pandemic prevention until January 31 next year.

According to the Russian News Agency on December 8, the Azerbaijan National Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters announced on the same day that it would extend the national quarantine of COVID-19 epidemic prevention until January 31, 2021.

Previously, the Afghan government extended the isolation several times. The last extension was made to December 28, 2020.

As of December 8, there were 149,765 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Azerbaijan. A total of 90,278 cases have been cured and 1,675 deaths have been reported, and 57,812 people are still receiving treatment.
