Austrian Minister of the Interior: A gunman in the Vienna terrorist attack is an "Islamic State" supporter

November 3rd. On the evening of the 2nd local time, a terrorist attack occurred in the center of Vienna, the Austrian capital.

4 people were killed and at least 15 were injured. Another assailant was killed. 

Austrian Minister of the Interior Nehammer said that the current investigation found that a gunman was a supporter of the “Islamic State” with automatic rifles and bombs.

According to news from Austria’s “Standard” and Deutsche News Agency on the 3rd, the death toll has risen to three, including one policeman on duty. 

Nehammer expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

While pointing out the identity of the perpetrators, he once again urged people not to go to the city center.
