According to local media reports, the Ethiopian Oromia State Police Commission stated that an attack on civilians occurred in the West Volrag area of ​​the state on November 1, local time, and 34 people were killed and 11 were missing. The local Amharic people were mainly targeted.

More than 60 attackers took them from their homes and killed them. The victims included women and children. 

The police committee confirmed that the attackers were from Shene, a military faction under the Oromia Liberation Front (OLF), and learned from the arrested that the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) had conducted military training and other aspects. Funding.

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy issued a statement on the 2nd, condemning the attack on a specific group of people, saying that the government has deployed security forces in the area and will work hard to ensure the safety of the people.

The Chairman of the African Union Commission Faki issued a statement on the 3rd, strongly condemning the killing of innocent civilians and calling on the Ethiopian authorities to ensure that the perpetrators of these heinous crimes are held accountable.
