At least two people have been killed in a bomb attack on a military vehicle in Somalia

At least two people, including a senior military officer, were killed in a roadside bomb attack on a military vehicle in Somalia’s central Shabelle state on April 17, somali news website Garowe Online reported. The blast occurred about 40 km from the Somali capital Mogadishu.

Somalia’s al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack and claimed to have wounded five other soldiers in addition to the senior officers killed.
