According to British media reports, on April 3rd local time, an anti-police law protest demonstration occurred in Parliament Square in central London. At least one policeman was injured after clashing between the police and the demonstrators.

According to the report, some people in the demonstrators attacked the police with slingshots, and the police clashed with the demonstrators, and at least one policeman was injured.

The Metropolitan Police Department of London subsequently issued a statement saying, “In the demonstrations in London that day, most people tried to comply with social isolation rules, and only a small number blocked the road in Parliament Square. The police at the scene persuaded him to quit in order to resume road traffic.”

Although the coronavirus lockdown measures are still in effect, the protests on the 3rd also took place in Newcastle, Birmingham, Liverpool, Bristol and Brighton in addition to London. This is the fourth consecutive weekend of anti-police law protests in Britain.

On March 10, the British government released the latest draft legislation of the Police, Crime, Trials and Tribunals. The bill gives the police more law enforcement power.
