January 19 After the riots in the U.S. Congress, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) called on the public to help it identify the relevant participants.

A man who was involved threatened to “shoot a traitor” and forbade his children from reporting his whereabouts. He was subsequently arrested.

The man, named Guy Reffitt, lives in the Dallas suburbs of Texas, according to Fox News.

Court documents show that Refitt returned home after congressional riots, banned his family from reporting that he had gone to Washington, and threatened to “punish the traitor”.

He warned his son that he was under FBI surveillance and that he had to “erase all traces”.

When his daughter was on the phone with a friend, he also warned that if his daughter was recording, he would “puncture the phone with one shot”.

Refitt’s wife also revealed that during a dispute with his family over the conflict in Congress, the man with links to the far-right militia even threatened his children, “If you report me, you are traitors and will know the fate of the traitor…the traitor will be shot.”

It is reported that the authorities arrested Refitel on the 15th, and an AR-15 rifle and a pistol were also found during the search.

Refitt was charged with obstructing traffic and knowingly entering or staying in a restricted building or site.

Court documents said he appeared in a video clip broadcast by Fox News and uploaded to YouTube, according to which investigators found him.
