Armenians burned their houses before evacuation: never leave it to Azerbaijanis

by YCPress

November 15 According to the ceasefire agreement reached by Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Armenia will hand over the Kerbajar, Agdam, and Lachin districts to Azerbaijan in the near future.

On the 14th local time, Armenians from these areas began to evacuate urgently. They burned their houses with tears so as not to fall into the hands of Azerbaijanis.

According to Reuters, on the 14th, in a village in Kelbajar district, Arsen, a 35-year-old Armenian man, set fire to his house. “Azerbaijanis will come here tomorrow. If possible, let them be here. Live!”

Arsen was wearing a camouflage uniform and was still fighting the Azerbaijani army a week ago. He said that he, like other people, did not want to leave anything useful to the Azerbaijanis.

On that day, six houses in the village caught fire, accounting for half of the houses in the village. Many villagers stood in front of the burning house, tears streaming down their faces. There were also couples with tears in the empty room, taking one last look. Trucks lined up on the roadside are full of household goods. Arsen said that he plans to take his wife and four children to Armenia, and then rent a house there.

On November 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Aliyev, and Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan signed a joint statement announcing a complete ceasefire in the Naka region from the 10th. The statement stipulates that the Azerbaijani and Armenian forces will stay in their respective positions, and the Russian peacekeeping forces will be stationed in Naqqa to monitor the ceasefire. (Overseas Network Liu Qiang)
