Armenian News Agency on January 5, Armenian President Armen Sargsyan tested positive for the novel coronavirus and will temporarily work remotely.

The office of the Armenian President said Sargsyan had previously celebrated the New Year’s holiday with his family and grandson in London.

On January 3, Sargsyan successfully underwent leg surgery, but he showed symptoms of COVID-19.
