December 24th, local time, the first batch of 300,000 doses of Russian “satellite-V” coronavirus vaccine arrived in Argentina.

The director of the Provincial Department of Health of Buenos Aires announced that the vaccination process will be officially launched next Monday (28th), with medical personnel in the district’s intensive care unit first receiving the vaccination.

The province has the highest number of confirmed cases in Argentina. It is understood that vaccination efforts in other places may also start next week, and Argentine President Fernández will discuss it with local governments this weekend.
