February 20th local time, Larry Wallace, mayor of Manor, Texas, said that thousands of people still had no electricity and water supply in their homes or businesses in the city, and expressed disappointment with the state government and power companies.

Wallace said that the practices of senior politicians such as Texas Governor Greg Abbott are “lost hope”.

He said, “I have lost all confidence in senior leaders.

Over the past 12 months, their actions have proved this again and again.”

Wallace pointed out that the American people have faced three disasters, the first is the coronavirus epidemic, the second is the impact on the Capitol, and the third is the severe weather currently facing the people.

He said that when disasters strike, people in small cities often do not have access to the convenience services provided by big cities in the first place, so they have to create organizations overnight to encourage and care for people in their communities.

The previous day, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner also said in an interview that the root cause of the power outage caused by the Texas blizzard was the lack of leadership of elected officials in the state.
