According to the Israeli Times, on the morning of the 23rd local time, a building in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, Palestine, caused at least 15 people to be slightly to moderately injured.

The cause of the explosion is unknown.

Hamas authorities in charge of the Gaza Strip said they were investigating the cause of the explosion.

There are reports of similar explosions in the Gaza Strip due to improper handling of explosives by local armed groups.
