According to Croatian media reports, an earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale occurred at 6:28 local time on the 28th.

The epicenter was near the city of Petrinya, 50 kilometers southeast of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, with a focal depth of 2 kilometers.

Previously, some media quoted data from the European Mediterranean Seismological Center that the earthquake was magnitude 5.2 on the Richter scale.

According to the monitoring of the Croatian Seismological Bureau, after the first earthquake, two aftershocks of magnitude 4.7 and 4.1 occurred at 07:49 and 07:51 respectively.
