An avalanche in Buryatia, Russia, has killed one person and left two missing

May 3, a massive avalanche on a mountain in tonkin district of the Russian Republic of Buryatia buried three tourists, killing one person and leaving two missing, Tass news agency reported.

According to reports, the incident occurred when a total of 5 tourists in the area, two of whom have been rescued, no injuries. Local emergency services have sent search and rescue teams and rescue helicopters to search for two other missing tourists.
