January 19th local time, according to the data of the Greek Ministry of Education, as of the morning of the 19th, a total of about 60 schools in Greece, including kindergartens, primary schools and special education institutions, had been temporarily closed due to confirmed cases of COVID-19 or their close contacts.
On January 11, all kindergartens, primary schools and special education institutions in Greece were reopened, and all students returned to school for a new semester in 2021.
