MAY 10 2021 A CALIFORNIA WOMAN HAS BEEN REUNITED WITH HER BIOLOGICAL MOTHER, WHO HAS BEEN SEPARATED FOR 50 YEARS, AND FOUND OUT THAT SHE HAD APPEARED IN SITCOMS SHE USED TO WATCH AS A CHILD, THE NEW YORK POST REPORTED MONDAY.

“I grew up watching my mother grow up on TV, and I didn’t know it at all,” Lisa Wright told NBC’s “Today” show on May 7, according to the report. Moody, who appeared on the TV show “That’s My Mom,” which aired two seasons in the mid-1970s and was a favorite of the adoptive Wright family, said he was “very happy” with the show. “That’s my mom,” Wright recalls, “was our must-see TV show, and we sat down to watch it every week.” Who would have thought? That’s my mom! ”

Although Wright knew she was adopted, she didn’t look for a biological mother until she had her own child. All she knew was that her biological mother had given birth to her at the age of 18. When Wright was 54, her son suggested she take a DNA test to find a loved one.

The test helped Wright find an uncle who told her that the family had been looking for Wright all these years and was in contact with her biological mother. Wright and his mother, who both happen to live in Los Angeles, first spoke to each other a few years ago before meeting.

Moody says she has no other children and has always dreamed of one day being reunited with her erratic daughter. She added, “Life is sometimes full of surprises, so don’t give up no matter what situation you’re in.” Open the door to miracles and surprises and stick to your beliefs.
